I found Oliver through the internet while looking for a contractor to paint the exterior of my house here in Tracy. He was my first and only bid. As we talked about the job I knew Oliver was the contractor for us. I honestly didn t even think twice about it. He is very knowledgeable, professional, meticulous, very respectful and just a down right good person. He went over and above our expectations. The quality of work Oliver does is rare to see these days. I work in the service/construction business and deal with many contractors. Oliver is a true craftsman down to even the smallest of details. The house looks amazing! We can t thank Oliver enough. Believe me when I say this Oliver will exceed your expectations . It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you as a person and a craftsman. Our experience with Oliver was excellent in all areas. He was professional, informative and meticulous about his work. He suggested different colors and styles that blended perfectly with our decor. We give Oliver our highest rating and highest recommendation. In all our previous dealings with any contractors, this has been the best experience that we have ever had. The bottom line is that we would have gladly paid much more for the impeccable job that was done. Thank you Oliver.

We found Big Valley painting and Oliver through the internet. We used him to repaint our entire interior house. He did an amazing job and he is without doubt, without exception, the best contractor of any type we have hired. I highly highly recommend, and Oliver, if you see this -- when you expand to the SF Peninsula, I will be your first customer!

Our church building was is desperate need of a makeover. Oliver Norwood came in and transformed the exterior of the building with a new color that made it look brand new. Olive is fair, respectful, reliable and just plain good. I look forward to having my house painted by him this summer.

We chose Mr. Norwood's estimate to paint the exterior of our two-story home and large arbor this past June after reading his reviews and speaking to some past clients that he provided as references. My husband and I are very satisfied with his workmanship! He was prompt, courteous, met his predetermined deadline, despite some unavoidable delays that arose and unusual wet weather. He listened to what we wanted, but gave expert advice based on his training and years of experience, which we appreciated and lead to a wonderful finished product. His prep-work was thorough, clean up at end of each day was immaculate and trim paint was crisp and sharp without bleeding onto the stucco. His price was very reasonable and I would recommend him to anyone!

I found Oliver by way of referral but I still wanted to get 2 bids for the complete interior painting of my rental property. I took a chance with Oliver not knowing what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Oliver's price was right but the quality of his workmanship was even better. He was a pleasure to deal with start to finish. I would highly recommend Oliver and Big Valley Painting for your painting needs and will use him again in the future myself.

Best painter ever! I loved having this guy in my house--very pleasant to be around and did an excellent job. He has a good eye for colors as well. If I need something painted, I'll definitely call him again. He quoted me a lower price than some others I checked too.

Oliver you are the best! Oliver painted our Home April-May 2010. I had ideas about the way I wanted it painted and Oliver gave me several great reasons why I should not do it that way. He is an expert! He has knowledge of what colors look good together and knows his paint. He takes his time so the job is perfect. He painted a section of the front and decided he didn't like the look, so he changed the colors and wow! My house stands out in the neighborhood. I had little kids come by and say they liked my house. I recommend Oliver for any job! I guarantee you will be more than satisfied with his work. He is an Artist! Thank you Oliver! Oliver painted my parent's rental house, and did not get one spot anywhere. He hand painted everything perfect. He was a great guy, easy to work with, and does an excellent job. In fact my mom had a guy paint her house a month before, and they did terrible. She said "I wish I would have had him paint my house and the other people paint the rental. It looks so much better in the rental". He also was a quarter of the price the other painter's charged that did the horrible job. If you need anything painted Oliver is definitely your guy.

Oliver painted nearly the entire interior of my large 4 bedroom home and did an excellent job, he helped me with my paint choices, he covered all my furniture with clean sheeting, he painted my ceilings not a drop of paint, I was so impressed with Oliver’s work with the first room and knew I had hired the right guy this time...yes last time I used a handyman painter and was not happy. Oliver is a true professional who enjoys his work and it shows, he is an awesome painter, is honest and trustworthy and I know i got the work done for a good price. Oliver cares about his work and is very detailed oriented and neat!! Oliver is HIGHLY recommended by me, I would never again use anyone else...I will always be calling Big Valley Painting...Oh I forgot to mention he is also going to paint my fencing and gate...next year I want to have him back to Paint my Gazebo!!!

If you’re looking for a professional painter who is reasonably priced, look no further. Oliver worked around my schedule and helped me decide on colors and styles. My house looks great. I would recommend Oliver for small jobs and big jobs. I would definitely use again.

If you’re looking for a fantastic painter Oliver is the person you want to paint your house. Many consider me a hard person to satisfy when it comes to contractor work but I can honestly say that Oliver exceeded my expectations. He painted the outside of my house and it looks fantastic. I received a great estimate, he provided me with multiple references, and included guidelines on how to pick a contractor. He helped with color selections and offered suggestions on how we should paint the house. He spent many hours prepping the wood and stucco before painting, making sure the end result was first class. I especially like how Oliver does what he says he is going to do which is something I don’t find very often anymore. Not only did I receive a great job but his price was very reasonable. I’m fully satisfied with the job and highly recommend Oliver to anyone looking for a painter.

Stop searching for a professional painter! You have found everything you need in Oliver!! Meticulous, he treats every surface as though it is in his own home. Equally as important, he cares about what I care about. Color selections can be challenging ~ he worked with me on them. Take time to get to know this man who is full of wisdom. He values his wife above all, family and friends and then his work. He is an Artist! Yes, he is reasonably priced and deserves a tip at the end!!!

Awesome Paint Job for the 2nd time around.: We can not say enough about Oliver. This is the 2nd time that he has come to doing painting for us. He goes above and beyond to complete the job in the most efficient amount of time with the highest quality imaginable. He is outstanding and I will refer him to all of our friends and family. We will never go any where else for our painting needs. You're the BEST Oliver.

Great Job! Awesome paint job is all I can say. Oliver was very professional, nice, personable, trustworthy and respectful. Our kitchen looks beautiful and I would recommend him to everyone who needs some painting done. If you want quality work done then call this company!!!!!!!!
